Welcome to Starr Lake – A Glimpse at the Neighborhood.  It is my goal to help home buyers to see the different neighborhoods available in the Acworth, GA. area.  Seeing a small glimpse of the neighborhoods may save you time when looking for a new home. Starr Lake is a neighborhood in the City of Acworth.  This portion of Acworth is in Cobb County which offers very desirable schools for young residents.  Frey Elementry, Durham Middle School, and Allatoona High School. For more information on the schools please see Cobb County School System

The architectural designs of the homes are Craftsman and Traditional.  The homes value range from the $300,000 to $400,000’s and were built in the 2000’s.  This community offers sidewalks on both sides of the streets and matching mailboxes.

The HOA’s for the community is an estimated  $735.00.  The HOA offers the residents a recreational area with swimming and tennis.  Note:  HOA fees do change so confirm the exact amount with your real estate agent or the management company.

The community is about 4 miles from Hwy 41 which offers shopping, restaurants, entertainment and workout centers.

Beyond Hwy 41 Historic Downtown Acworth offering additional shopping, restaurants, and activities.  The City of Acworth is re-developing or restoring the historic building.  Please see the calendar for the Acworth Calendar.

Only a few minutes away you could enjoy outdoor water activities like motorboating, kayaking, paddling or swimming at Lake Allatoona or Lake Acworth.

Red Top Mountain State Park and the Silver Comet Trail is about 30 minutes away offering outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to ride either road or off-road, hiking, running or walking on either dirt or paved trails.

This side of Atlanta is just over an hour away to the mountains.  Great places to view waterfalls or hiking.
