Bridgewater is a community in Acworth, GA off of Hwy 41. Acworth, GA is about 30 miles from downtown Atlanta, GA. This is a small community with homes valued in the 500’s to 600’s. These homes were built in the late 90’s to 2000’s offering traditional and European architectural styles. The community offers a sidewalk on one side of the street and matching mailboxes for a clean look for the community.
The community’s annual HOA’s is estimated between $375 to $475. Bridgewater does not offer a traditional recreational area such as swimming pool or tennis courts instead offers a private dock on Lake Allatoona for the residents and their guess. The dock is walkable from the resident’s homes offering fun watersports such as boating, kayaking, paddling and swimming in Lake Allatoona. The area also offers a place for family picnics.
Bridgwater community is within the Cobb County school system. Cobb county’s “vision is a school district of excellence where all students succeed”. The community is off of Hwy 41. Hwy 41 has grocery stores, hardware stores, and several restaurants. historic Downtown Acworth, which is being redeveloped, is about 20 minutes from the community of Bridgewater with additional shopping and restaurants. Red Top Mountain State Park, about 30 minutes from the community, offers hiking and offer off-road cycling. The community is also about 30 minutes to the Silver Comet Trail which offers a paved path without cars for road cycling, running or walking. A cyclist could ride a century from Smyrna to beyond the Alabama state line.
